Just right? Not Enough? Too much? Villian is 20/17 but only over about 40 hands

I think I'd have to raise the river and call a 3-bet. I think he would 3-bet the turn with AT-A9 putting you on a big ace. I think he won't have AA or TT because of the lack of a preflop cap.

I agree that he'll 3-bet A9 and AT here, but does he lead into the turn capper on the river with those? Although, I guess a check/raise would be awesome if he can beat 99. Maybe raising here should be easy.

That was my problem, I capped and he still led into me. Him three betting makes me want to puke here.

I'd say raise/x is better than calling the river. By that I mean raising even if you don't know how to handle a 3-bet (which should be a call) is better than calling because the majority of the time you are not going to get 3-bet.

Good point, I had forgotten about that, and I thought maybe he should just call on the river, but he definetly should raise.

Hero has shown infinite strenght. If I was villain I would put hero on a set after the turn cap.
And he still leads into you. Imo this is a call.

Anyone put villian on a completed straight possibly? The draw just came in. I didn't really think about it, but I guess it is a possibility.
