hero?

Villain was winning a lot pots and talking A LOT of trash, especially after making raises.

was was like 45/7/1.8 over about 100 hands.

edit: it folded to me, not sure if that was clear

I think nobody is saying anything because we honestly don't know.

it did complete a draw and most o the time this kind of move is not a bluff.

base it on how often you've seen him do this and how he has played 2 pair in the past.

I call here everytime and I make a full house on the river just in case villain isn't just trying to move me off my "obvious overcards"

Getting 2:1 and in light of the read you mentioned, you have to call here. You only need 33% equity to make the call right, and the redraw to a full house provides 20% of that if you really are against a straight.

(No one's mentioned this, but I think it's a non-negligible probability you're losing to 99. Many people slowplay trips to the turn or river, opposing draws be damned. On the other hand, 97 might also be possible, depending on how loosely/wildly Villain plays.)

But the read does sound like the "wishful thinking" I sometimes practice, so you want to be sure that you've really seen Villain push people off of hands by waiting for the turn.

Bet more on the flop. They'll pay it.

I like potting this on flop, and I will call here on the turn given the pot odds, especially with your read.
