Live at the Muck 9 handed. I've already played for a few hours and am tired so I go down to 3/6. Button is somewhat new to the game of poker.

2 limp, I pfr w/ QQ, 2 behind cold call, big blind calls.

flop: Q /images/graemlins/heart.gif 9 /images/graemlins/heart.gif 4/images/graemlins/club.gif
checked to me, I bet, 1 folds, button raises, 3 cold call (?!), I 3 bet hoping for a cap- button just calls, all call

turn: 8 /images/graemlins/heart.gif
checked to me.

What's my plan?

Bet and call a raise?

Bet and see what happens. If no one folds and it comes back to you for one or more bets, I'd consider going to war right now (if the rake is capped). If there is a raise (or reraise) and people drop out I would just call and hope to fill up on the river.

betting the turn, calling a raise. and filling up on the river seems to be a good line.

this hand is going to the showdown regardless, if there is much turn aggression, just try to get there are cheaply as possible.

however, not betting on the turn is just wrong, as you still have 10 outs, if not still the best hand.

yeah, i think you have to bet. you don't want to give someone with two pair and a heart a free card. plus, if everyone calls, i think you're betting your quad/boat draw for value. I'd probably cap the turn if i knew every one would stay in. Although I remember losing quads to a straight flush once though.
