villain here is a total nut. he is like 50/21/4. Hyper-aggro retard. I though I'd get cute on the turn. Thoughts on each street?

not bad. I don't think going for the cr is bad. You don't want villian to fold and too often they do after being 3 bet. It's a guessing game and sometimes you guess right and sometimes not. Here it looks like it worked out for you in an unexpected way.

hm, pot is big and if he is that aggro i dont think there is need to get cute, these guys dont like to fold.
but i would not expect him to check behind on the turn with any draw so, i dont know.

I like this too. What you did, Bob, is perfectly fine as well. I think it's probably an anomaly that he checks behind unless you've been doing this with any kind of frequency.

Lately I have been caught pulling moves similar to this. If he is truely a spaz then I would just 3-bet the flop and go from there.

Against a generic LAG, your line looks pretty good. Against a total nut, you might make more by 3betting the flop, having him cap, and then c/r'ing the turn. Given that you didn't 3bet the flop, I think the rest of the hand is very good.

I 3-bet the flop almost always. This is a drawy board. Even maniacs know how to take free cards. Don't let him. I can see myself playing the river the same way.

I was utterly shocked when he checked the turn, and thought I was golden when the river was another K. I was wrong, as he had K /images/graemlins/club.gifT /images/graemlins/club.gif for the weirdest played hand I have seen in a while. IMO his retardation may have extracted more value from me. I suck.

Not really. If you had check-raised the turn, he probably would've 3-bet, and if I were you I'd call down from there on. So that's 4 BB put in on the turn and river vs. the same as played. So it came out the same, but he gave you a free chance to hit an A. You should be grateful. /images/graemlins/wink.gif

I think I play it the same. This guy will allmost always bet the turn here, except when he has some kind of "monster" I guess.

If he's as bad as u say, u should have lost more. I would bet-three bet the turn and call down after he caps. Or u could three bet flop.
