blind structure

the game is play is usually 9-12 handed and its nlh we start with 1000 in chips 25-50 blinds and they double every 30 mins .... capping at 200-400 ... i feel like the starting chips make it a rat race almost .... does anyone have any opinions .... is that a very tight stucture ... id like some suggestions

is there some online translator that turns every punctuation mark into an ellipsis? we're seeing a lot of this lately.

ps: your structure sounds decent. not "great" and not horribly fast. it's comparable to a lot of other home games and even casino one table tournaments that are out there. it's in fact slower than many of them.

i'd start with more chips say 1800 to 2000 but have the blinds go up every 20 mins. cap it at 300-600 or 400-800
