They are offering a $600 bonus. But is the site any good? Any comments appreciated.

Games are great, but I heard the rake is pretty bad. The bonus also apparently clears slowly at the low stakes.

really? at PR I thought the rake was better than party, although I could very easily be mistaken. At 100NL the rake was capped at $2 when at Party it seems like I'm always paying more.

if you are 3-tabling short-handed 1/1 NL you'll be making about $9/hr toward the 600 bonus. So it'll take a while but not forever. Lot easier to clear it playing limit.

Anyways, on-topic: the 1/1 and 2/2 games are top-notch so far in my experience (4K hands or so).

edit: also, yes, the rake is terrible.

Software is horrible, games seem good from the 500 hands I played before my wrist broke.

At PR there is a low cap on the rake, but its taken at a higher %, so if there are frequently very large pots (i.e. low stakes games) the rake is likely to be better, but the frequent small pots you get at higher stakes games means the rake is actually much worse at higher stakes on PR.

At no-limit and pot-limit PR has likely the lowest rake in the industry. Likewise they have a low rake at very low limit games (but don't go clearing any bonuses there - you'll die of old age before they're done), and at the high limit games. It's really only $2/$4 and $3/$6 limit games the rake is higher than at Party Poker.
