$1/2 6m (party if it matters); assume standard 50%+ vpip non-psycho players:

1. utg, mp, co limp; do you raise JJ/button (fully expecting one or both blinds to call regardless)? If so, why?

2. family pot; do you pfr JJ from big blind? If so, why? Where's the grayish cut-off to be playing a pp for set value here?

3. mp pfr, co and button call; what do you do w/AJo in sb? 3-bet AJs or complete being able to c-r mp/field later?

1. Raise you have the best hand. You're giving up way to much value by not raising.

2. Same raise. I'd say 99-88

3. I think I break out the old cold call here for AJo. A 3-bet just inflates the pot with an off suit hand. You have too much equity to fold. 3-bet AJs. .

Ok, raising 1 and 2 maybe I suffer from "get too few prem hands; must therefore win them all or save bets when the field's too big" syndrome; so I'm raising for the N times I win? And the > N times villain pairs A/K/Q board is made up for the N times I win the hand having raised (and correctly folded a losing hand)?
