In the past I have used electric and many kinds of razor. I am back on the disposable razor. With a razor I have used gel and foam but most of the time I just use hot water although in the bush I've used cold and it works too. I actually have cut myself less without the gel or foam.

lets gel!

related question, why is it always harder and more painful to shave the hairs on the front of my chin then the hairs on the side/bottom of my cheek?

An ancient mystery no doubt. How about the fuckers right under your cheek/jaw line? I can never get the razor angle perfect enough to get a smooth feel there.

I tried growing a beard so I wouldn't have to shave, but hey, I like sex and it made obtaining said sex too difficult.

Test him out and provide OOT with a trip report. In this case, pictures are NOT necessary.

I am pretty much screwed unless I use Mach3 Turbo + Gillete complete skin scare.

I just won't shave if I run out of good, sharp blades or my shaving gel.

Practice curling your razor around there in short strokes. Of course, attacking from all directions helps.

Yeah, that's what I wind up doing. It takes me longer to do those spots than the rest of the face combined. I was considering a move to electric, but heard that it would take LONGER. Anyone wanna prove/disprove this myth?

right below jaw line.... this is how u do it...

1.) shave above jawline in the normal downward stroke.
2.) then PULL the skil form below the jaw line UP to above the jaw line, and hold it. You pull by using you left hand's 4 fingers (not thumb) on your right side in an underhand manner. So, the thumb on your left hand is pointing at your right ear.
3.) look in the mirror, and carefully shave (with your right hand) the new "above jawline" area... release and it should be very very smooth, like above jawline. Come back and write an OOT trip report. I know people say not to pull your skin while shaving, but this beats having a bunch of cuts down there....

I tried a decent electric razor for a while. It was a short while, it was just never even close to being as good a shave.

If you consistently cut yourself trying to get those spots, you're doing something wrong.
Also, pulling does work, but it can really screw with your skin if you do it too often.

I used to do that. Much better shaves than with gel or foam. I got lazy though and now I use foam.

I grow almost no facial hair. After two or three days there will be just enough to be visible from ten feet away. So when I shave, I use a Bic disposable (one (!) blade), dry, on the neck and an electric on the chin, lower and upper lip. The wole thing takes about 30 seconds.

So I chose "Other"

I hope you've never complained about anything in your entire life. Otherwise that poor, emaciated child is going to be very, very disappointed in you, since clearly he has it worse than you do. In fact, why are you typing on your computer? Shouldn't you have already sold off all of your possessions so that he may live?

I use the prince shaving cream from Lush. Any old razor is fine, though I must admit the mach3 is nice. The stupid vibrating one creeps me out though.

this crap isn't even in the same league. If it works for you great, but there is no comparision to the shave I get from a quality shaving cream.

I'm nearly 26 years old. I've never ever shaved with a real razor. I've only ever used an electric razor to shave my upper lip and chin. I've never ever ever had to shave my neck, sideburns, cheeks, etc.

I'm a baby-faced mutant.

I'm on the left:

I couldn't choose any of them. I use Nair. Sure, it stings a lot and makes my face real red, but it is convenient, because my wife and I can Nair at the sane time. And why would I want to use a razor on my face and Nair on my boxer line. It sure seems like a waste to me. Now, I know with that said, many more of you will begin using Nair.

p.s. Who wears boxer shorts? I wear boxer shorts!
