couple .50/1 6-max hands

had a very good session this morning, but on my last table i lost about 15BB mostly on these two hands. the table was like my others, pretty much all maniacs and fish. i think in both hands CO is the biggest maniac, but they are all pretty aggro.

hand 1 looks like a stop-and-go of sorts but i didn't expect that at this level. hand 2 the pot was big enough, the river was just unfortunate.

do these look right?

If CO is a maniac then that and MP hanging around should give you all the incentive you need to 3bet the turn in hand 1. If you had done this and were still faced with 2 cold on the river you might find a fold, given the way you played it I feel you gotta call with your 2 pair.

Hand 2 looks fine, dont even think about folding 2 pair for 1 bet in a pot this size.

hand 1 he actually slowplayed KK, hand 2 i'd have the pot if the river wasn't a J or spade.

oh, another question, with maniacal opponents, is it ever good to check raise with a made hand rather then lead so i can trap extra bets?
