Background: Was doing well at this table but 3 hands prior doubled up a player who rivered a flush with K3s vs my KK ....... He left after that pot...

SB is 26/7 player IIRC, and table is very passive....

What type bet here.....do I check-call/check raise...?

Bet like 50 and fold to a raise if this is a passive table. That T is a little scary, and MP1 cold calling a raise and a reraise is also pretty scary.

PS: Your avatar is awesome!

I definitely don't check here. I bet $40-$50.

I would bet 40. I wouldn't be that afraid of the T. I can't see AQ, Q9 or TT hanging around after the turn. I suspect villain has got the case jack, but I don't think he would have KJ as surely he would have done some raising by now (although he may have checked to the PF raiser hoping to CR, then decided to slow play when he filled on the turn). JT is possible but I think you're ahead often enough to bet for value. Bear in mind he may think you were bluffing when the board paire. Tricky situation if you get raised - probably best to fold but I don't think I could lay it down /images/graemlins/frown.gif

And what if re-raised....?That type of bet might as well have me push ? I get re-raised and I'm all in......?

This looks like classic blocking bet to me. Bet about half the pot, if you get raised, fold.

Edit: I bet out the flop, too.

Fold. You will still have 100 behind if you just make a 1/2 pot value bet. Surely you can get away from this if raised? If villain goes true to form he'll call you down, probably with the worst hand.

If I bet $40-50....that leaves me $95/$100 behind.......Being OOP sucks....
