Its so freaking cold, aka I want a trip to Australia

I'm freezing my cojones off here in Michigan today, and I've decided I really want to go on a vacation. I was thinking Vegas, but just now Australia popped into my head. Anyone have any experience traveling to Australia and know where to go, the cheapest rates, all that crap. Feel free to use this thread to bit@h about how freakin cold it is around here as well.

It was during one of these mo-fo cold spells I took my first trip to Vegas - it was part of the reason I kept going back...

SO, NOW, when I go....I usually just go in winter so I can spend some time in the sun in a T-shirt

Amen bro. I'm going to play that which cannot be named for the next month hardcore so I can just go there or aussie land. But 12 degrees here , 3 with windchill... I hope my balls redrop again...

I know nothing about cheap air or whatever, but I spent a ton of time in Sidney a couple years ago and highly recommend it.

Things really depend on what you plan to do and see, but if you want to be based in downtown I'd suggest the Rocks district. I loved that area.

I stayed in the AMA and it was not a cheap place. I'm sure there are better deals but the AMA was a first class place near many things to do.

It's easy to get out of town in many ways to see more of the country.
