I'm posting this all over the place because I'm getting ready have to make a decision in a few hours. My backlight on my Dell 5150 went out after 2 years and the warranty expired. I'm getting a new notebook for Christmas but won't be able to spend as much money. Anyone know about Gateway's - there is an add for Best Buy for 579.99 (originally 799.99)- Doesn't say the type - I'm pretty sure MX6000. Anyone have experience with Gateway notebooks?
