I wanted to know what you guys thought of my play this hand Also I wondered where I should go to read about heads up and short handed besides that thread. I really just want to know where I can read the basics and even more advanced startegy for short handed, not a disscusion.

Here's the hand

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t30 (4 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx (http://www.zerodivide.cx/converter)

Hero (t3335)
Button (t1600)
SB (t7005)
BB (t1560)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with K/images/graemlins/club.gif, Q/images/graemlins/heart.gif.
Hero raises to t70, 1 fold, SB calls t55, BB calls t40.

Flop: (t210) 4/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, 5/images/graemlins/heart.gif, T/images/graemlins/diamond.gif (3 players)
SB bets t90, BB calls t90, Hero calls t90. (I called this bet b/c I had 2 overs and a backdoor draw, not to mention my big stack, but was I getting correct pot and implied odds?)

Turn: (t480) J/images/graemlins/heart.gif (3 players)
SB bets t90, BB calls t90, Hero calls t90.

River: (t750) 9/images/graemlins/spade.gif (3 players)
SB checks, BB bets t180, Hero raises to t810, SB folds, BB folds.

Final Pot: t1740

I will give this up on the 90 flop bet. Other than that, I think your play is ok.

Preflop: I think if you are going to raise this hand, you want to bump it up to about 4xBB (t120). This will more likely chase out weaker hands, I think you've priced in pretty much any two from the BB.

Flop: You're only getting slightly better than 4-1 here, so you are not getting the odds to call. As for the implied odds, that's more depended on your reads. Also, because the blinds could have call with a very large range, you can't be sure that your two overs are outs, and obviously your backdoor draw is a long shot. I'd just give up on the hand here.

Turn: You've come this far...
