For the first time in a little over two years I'm taking a day off from playing poker for money. My kids are coming over for Thanksgiving dinner about 5:00 and I just decided to give myself a break. I signed up for a couple of Party points tourneys later this evening but I'm not playing for money today. How long has it been for you since you took a day off?

I'm sure you are right and that is probably great advice. Thanks. Just for something to do I entered a UB points buy in turbo tourney that had a $1,000 prize pool. I finished first and got $225. Not bad for a day I risked no money.

This forum is for important things like poker, not trivial things like women, men, and non-poker.

I just play during my days off. As fun as it is to scoop up pots off the fish, I don't want it to mess with my college work.

i'm in hospital for medical testing... spent a week in here last week with no online poker, and three more days this week in here.

damn windows software restrictions... at least i can read this - after i was in last time reading more stuff on here i think i got noticeably better

(oh, and no sex in here either)
