I use to play 30-60 holdem game on Internet with Daniel Negreanu (double suited). It was a lot of fun playing with him. People were asking him any kind of questions and he was so kind to answer most of them. He likes to chat with players telling them a lot about him self. One player ask him, if he was working for that website. Daniel sad that he is not working for this website and he will never work for anybody, but him self. He sad, that is why I play poker for living, because I like to be my own boss. Wow. That was very bold statement. I thought to myself that he does not want to be like other “Big Names” player who is promoting a lot of different websites. So he is different, he is pure poker player no mater how many world champion he wins. No such luck. We all know that money talks, bullshit walks, and he is no different from any of us .I understand, we all need an extra cash, even If we won $374,760 in tournaments this year. Good luck to you Daniel.

I wasn't aware that changing your mind was a sign of bad character.

he is pure poker player no mater how many world champion he wins.

...which would be as many as I've won.

"I wasn't aware that changing your mind was a sign of bad character."

But not keeping your words is.

He gave you his word? I thought you said he was chatting online.

I decipher from your post that, uh, Daniel is now a spokesman for Pokerstars?

2 questions:
A.) Why does this upset you?
B.) Seeing as it would be hard to find a better spokesman, as he plays the site A LOT and conducts himself very politely and professionally (even when the environment is less than observant of standard decorum)--would you suggest someone else?
C.)Uh....WTF?!

That last one was really the only question I have.

on a few occasions in live game, all high limit(100-200 and up), even whe he was hammered, (yes once he was)I have found him to be the perfect gentleman win or lose. NEVER a bad word or snide remark of any kind. And I pushed some large cash away from him. And when he wins the small pot next hand.....a small toke. very gratiously. And I hope I speak for all dealers when I say it's appreciated. As far as I'm concerned He and Tommy are perfect specimens of what WPT will want to show the sponsors.

Hats off guys!
