I planned on check calling his inevetable turn all in. Should I have 3 bet pushed the flop? Is the turn the worst card for me? Lead turn...the way stacks are i can't back off from a 1/2 pot turn raise that gets reraised anyway? Is there a better line or does this get the most action from worse hands. Turn call a must since I was expecting him to do it if I checked?

I 3-bet AI the flop.

well, if your planning on calling his all in on the turn, you might as well push the flop after his raise and hope for the best,
fortunately he has a short stack so he could top pair and it wouldnt cost you too much..
you have outs anyways.

Agreed, given his stack size I 3 bet all in on the flop...your not folding to almost anything on the turn anyways so no need to evaluate it.

As others have said, if you want all your chips in, why wait until the next card comes, get it in ASAP.

Villain is lag, but seems to be thoughtful. I think he believes I've missed the flop. He in fact had KQ, I think he folds this to a push. I was about a 4:1 and thought the best chance to get the money in was a call and check the turn. If I put him on a K is my line good?

I think a K will call your 3-bet AI a majority of the time here.

Hmm, I actually never even considered this. I think I've been giving my opponents too much credit for having fold equity
