Is it standard to fold AJs to a 3BB raise? I would play this very similar to the way that OP did.

Do you fold because you are giving villain credit for an UTG raise? I just don't think people at the 25s tighten up that much in early position.

I would be interested in hearing more detailed comments about why folding preflop is best.

Thanks.

Raise a little more on the flop, and bet some more on the turn. Otherwise it looks good.

How much should i have bet on the turn? I thought when a scary card came up you were supposed to bet around 1/2 the pot to control its size.

the reason your best play IMO is to fold is to avoid being dominated, hitting the flop and it costing you 8 dollars to find out that your A is no good because you have poor position. In late position you may choose to raise or fold AJ but cold calling with AJ is a sure way to lose money over time. the exception to this is when there are many callers in a raised pot and you can play it a bit like an Axs
