I don't know, you'd think a decent player that coldcalled preflop, raised that flop and then bet every street is going to have a set or 56 a lot of the time. If he had some big draw on the flop he's just going to fold if you push. He may even fold a smaller two pair. I doubt there's value in a push.

i dunno his play looks awfully like a set/straight

he does put you on hearts obviously, i think a call is in order, followed by fold, and raise being the worst ....2-pair doesnt get this aggressive

I definitely wouldn't raise this hand.

Calling is probably the best option.

im trying to come up w/ a reason to call.

A7 is the only reason I can think of to call... and that seems to be a bad one... to me this seems like a fold. Actually it seems like a fold on the turn, but definitely a fold on the river assuming this opponent has not been getting out of line.

You don't think people bet this turn all the time to get a fold from a medium pair or draw? I can't imagine that folding top pair with the nut redraw getting 2:1 is correct? Can you explain why you fold the turn giving this action?

i wouldve folded the turn, yes.

I agree with the 2nd part of this, however, the 1st and 2nd statements here don't match up?

If he has a set or straight AND puts hero on hearts his river bet of $1000 is bad. If he puts hero on the nut heart draw, that's fine he made aces so he can put in a value bet, not $1000. If he has a set or straight and puts hero on something like KQh he would weak lead and give hero room to bluff, also not $1000.

Based on the size of his river bet, this makes me believe a call is correct.

If you raise all-in, the only worse hand that calls you is a smaller aces up. I find that an unlikely holding for villain, so I think calling is better.

I'm not even sure I want to call this, much less push.

Doesn't MP1 have a set or the straight here almost always?

For some reason, i pushed the river. Right afterwards, i thought "wow what a horrible play". I was not expecting so many people to make a case for folding, i'll have to give that some more thought, although my initial incling is that calling the river was the correct move.

Lol, yeah i guess i forgot to include the results. I was called by 33 and lost. It made it much easier to see how bad the play was because i lost, but i hope i would arrive at the same conclusion even if i was called by A7.

call river, he probably has a set

W/O a read, I'd just call due to villains show of strength.
