are there continuation bets in omaha?

i accidentally registered for $30r plo/8 on party. in hold em i'll bet most flops after i raise pre-flop whether or not i hit the flop, but i didn't know if this was a good idea in plo8.

also, is the preflop raise a good idea? this was my thinking:

- i had raised a couple of times already with AAxx and AAxx and gotten plenty of callers (wound up showing down one but not the other) on a big pot-sized raise. other people's big raises also got a lot of calls (it's a rebuy).

- i should be raising hands besides AAxx.

- if i weren't worried about people catching on to what i was doing, i would raise a smaller amount because i want a big multiway pot with this hand (right?) but i thought that might be a classic "i have A2" tell.

Continutation bets are strictly prohibited in PLO8.

Seriously, the PFR is fine with that hand. A low-only A2 like A245 I'd prefer to pick up many callers, but with a split-pot A2 like this one, the raise is definitely the way to go, I'd prefer to thin the field. So I'd raise the max, too.

Unforunately, this flop sucks; a continuation bet is an option, but the way you played it is best in a tourney IMO. Continuation betting w/ this hand would be a better option if you caught a flop like Q63... sure you don't have much of a hand but you will pick up the pot w/ a strong bet a significant amount of the time, and when you don't you'll have two shots at the nut low draw + backdoor high draws, assuming you get a free card on the turn.
