I think it's correct, just waiting for verification. If it's wrong, then #2 and #3 are probably just switched, but #1 I'm 99% sure of.

When my birthday falls on a Sun-Thurs:

My birthday.
Friday of my birthday week.
Saturday of my birthday week.

When my birthday falls on a Fri or Sat, replace one of the days w/ Thursday.

An excellent and acceptable alternate answer. Question clarified to specific days of the year, not of the week or month.

3. Christmas Day

There is some confusion on this as two different surveys gave different answers.

#1 is New Year's Eve. Not close.

#2 St. Patrick's Day in survery #1

#3 The night before Thanksgiving in survey #1

In survey #2 the bottom two are reversed. Probably survery #1 was Northeast/Chicago people and #2 was elsewhere.

Tonight is definetly number one here in St. Louis.
I think it differs by region though. So my guess, in order

Night before thanksgiving (i know this is #1 here)

Mardi Gras (we have the number 2 mardi gras party in the nation, maybe number one, after Katrina)

St. Paddys day (possibly). The third one is a little tougher, I dont think its superbowl, or new years though.

And Ill agree with the sentiment that the amateurs come out on new year, tonight is for the real drinkers...alright off hte to bARS. GET LAID TONIGHT FELLAS

Halloween
New Year's Eve
Cinco de Mayo

EDIT: Holy [censored], missed the boat on that one. Figured it was supposed to be some kind of trick question. Apparently I need to get out more.

Tonight is one of the biggest DUI nights for cops because so many people who don't normally drink are out celebrating the short work week.

So while you might think it's a night for pro's, the cops would say otherwise.

In Pittsburgh, the #1 choice is St. Patricks Day, and it is not even close. I am thinking that other places don't celebrate St. Pattys Day like we do, so they probably have some other day like New Years Eve as #1.

Pros need no occasion to party. A tuesday in july is just as good a reason to party, never mind waiting for when you have the day off the next day.
