Final Pot: 12.20 BB

When He donked the turn I was thinking if he makes it 3 then he just hit a st8 or a set. He did but I couldn't make myself fold this river since this kinda player is capable of making moves.

Thoughts..?

Folding this river on a draw heavy board against a LAG in a big pot would be bad. I call this without a specific and solid read.

Ok, I am not going to tell you that I would fold that river cuzz I probably wouldn't. Your line was very reasonable/well played and the only possible decision to make is on the river...IMO. I mean you raise the turn with TP-good Kicker with a four flush and get 3bet... easy/mandatory call.

The thing is that opposing players line does not indicate a drawing hand....it indicates a very strong hand.

I can see a agg player check-call the flop and c/r the turn with a semibluff flush or strght draw. This would not be uncommon at all.

However this guy check-called the flop and donk-3bet the turn. That smells unlike a standard semibluff... at least to me. Probably means most of the time, only your flush outs are good here... sometimes your pair outs... but you need to improve the vast majority of the time...IMO.

Then again....this guy's stats are not just a little laggy...but ultra laggy...gotta crycall here.

It doesnt look good for you, there are more Ax that beat you than don't. Your turn raise pretty much tells him you have an ace, but he comes at you anyway. I really doubt its a flush or straight draw. Best case is he has A8 or A6, worse case hes got the straight.

Thats all rambling tho, really the only comment I wanted to make was that reads are very important, obviously if you have a read he will do this with hands you beat, then you should call the river, however, don't magnify a read just because you want to call and then use it to justify calling. Im not saying thats what you did, just that I think its common for people to do that (I do this too much), and this seems like the type of spot where thats likely to be the case.

I know one of my leaks is calling down a little light however this prevents me from getting pushed around in every god damn pot I'm in. Anyways it just sucks that I had put him on the correct hand but couldn't make myself go with my read.

I think I should try and go a little more with my own intuition and handreading skills and see how that works out.
