I'm thinking about checking this place out later this evening. Has anyone been or heard about?

I've eaten there once. Good steak, good service, and a very differnce ambiance than most other steakhouses you'll find. Very modern-looking.
CP Steak is not really a steakhouse in the sense that you don't really go there for traditional steakhouse food like a big slab of meat and some creamed spinach. They tend to make recipes involving steak rather than just slapping a steak on a plate.
Overall, I like the traditional steakhouse atmosphere more, but CP is definitely very good at what it does.

I had an amazing meal at Charlie Palmer this evening.
I'll certainly disagree with the poster's response that its not a traditional steakhouse. My order consisted of the Kansas Ribeye 18oz of wholesome goodness. Sidedishes included: french fries which were exceptional.
Spinach: which was very good.
Baked Potato: too rich for my liking.
Mushrooms: very good, hard to mess up.
Sapphire Martini, needless to say that was amazing.
The price was on point.
¬$50
