all parties involved are idiots, pre-flop, post-flop, even while the flop is coming down.

Check and consider calling a bet of about 1/3 pot or less, fold to a bigger bet.

I dont call a bet here. I either take a stab at the pot and shut down if called or check fold. I probably check fold this flop. You cant call any bets. Flush draw, strait possibility, overcard. Heck even if you hit your king on the turn you are not good over half the time.

I almost always bet. If they had good high cards, they would've raised themselves.

I really disagree with this when the description given is that they are idiots.

I would probably put button allin then not put much more money into the pot unimproved.
Check/folding is too weak imo, they might have Qx Tx, mid/low PP and SCs

As much as we hate betting it we muuuust do so. Do you call a min-raise, that's what I would like to know.

what sucks, is that your continuation bet would likely be called by hands you beat (given the description of the players), which puts you in quite a predicament. I can easily see some moron calling KQ or some such trash.

I say check fold, but if i were at the table, i'd probably put out about 100 bucks.

I think I would like to hear a better definition of "idiot" in this case. If they are loose passives that play any high two then you gotta check fold here, as one of them probably made two pair or at the very least one pair and a draw that they might chase unless u take a nice stab at it.

I suppose you could try a really weak bet that will get people who didn't pair the board to fold since in their donk minds they are thinking you made a set or 2 pair and are acting weak cause ur strong, this wouldn't cost you too much I guess.

I think I still like check fold here tho.

idiots = will play any face card pre-flop

i think its definitely in my best interest to bet, but how much? pot? 3/4? that short stack has basically pot left in him.

11-23-2005, 03:48 PM
I dont like betting this against 2 idiots, they could call you with anything. Then the turn comes you've sunk more money into this sinking ship, and you still don't know where you are.

Normally Id bet this and fold to a raise, but with this flop multiway, against not one but 2 donkeys I'll pick a better spot.

I usually bet 60 and then give up unless I improve.

You gotta know when to hold 'em, know when to fold 'em.
Know when to walk away, know when to run.

Run.

I would lead out for $50 and shut down if anyone calls. You will take this pot down more often than you might think.

Im surprised at the number of people who advocate betting here. Betting is pure chip spewing IMO. If these guys are as idiotic as the seem they could have A7s-AKs (and off), j10-jq,jk, qk, any pocket pair. I think the fact that this pot is multiway makes it MUCH more likely someone has an Ace. SO what if we c/f. We lose 3 pre flop raises. Big deal. Im playing for these guys stacks, and Im not risking another cent in this pot where even if they do call me, I will still have no idea where I stand.

Check and fold.

alright, new question, what if the A was a spade.

Bet 3/bet? C/C. Will these guys laydown 2pair/aces on this flop. If not then Id rather draw cheaply then bet/3bet. I doubt that they sound like the type to fold 2pair here.
