I got 2 and came home...

I have yet to open them since I saw the news this morning about it on ebay.

I guess that is one plus of small-town America and having the owner of the Game Depot live in the other Cul-de-sac in your subdivision. /images/graemlins/grin.gif

He had 12 and sold 6, had 4 pre-ordered, and 2 he put on ebay today.

I was planning on giving one to my nephew for christmas, but now I think I am going to sell his on Ebay and just buy games for this one and other gifts for christmas with the huge profit they are bringing.

Am I a sorry Uncle or what???

People gave me guff for buying the Xbox three months before this new one, but given the cost, and the fact I haven't nearly exhausted the possibilities yet for it, I see no issue with keeping it around for awhile.

Then when I'm done I'll hack it and turn it into a Linux box.

Or at least sell yours now, give the one to the kid, and then buy another one after Christmas along with a fat load of games for yourself w/ the profits.

arent they going for over a grand on ebay? would you give this kid any other $1000 present for christmas? get him something else.

No kid is worth one of these. Strike while the iron is hot and get max dollars for it now while you still can. Nephew can still get tons of other crap.

Hell, if people are even considering getting him presents that cost hundreds of bucks, the kid is making out like a bandit.

Yeah he is SPOILED. Of the 3 siblings(Brother, Sister & me) My sister is the only one who had to have more than just a dog. He gets everything he wants, I took him to see HP4 opening night, and then I picked up The Polar Express on DVD and Smackdown Vs. Raw 2006 yesterday as well.

He also loved Thomas the Tank Engine as a little kid. He has EVERY train they ever made metal and wood! He takes great care of everything he gets.
