both of these hands were in level 1 so there were no reads. and I dont know whats wrong w/ the converter so its alittle screwed up.
hand #1 - should I have raised more PF, raise less/more after the flop, call/fold/push?
hand #2 - hows my line PF, same post questions

Hand 1 I bet less (t120 or so) on the flop and fold to the raise.

Hand 2 I would take the free turn.

Hand 1 - I wouldve have bet more pf, which you know, then i wouldve bet less on the flop, around 100, and folded to a reraise.
Hand 2 - I probably wouldve checked. If i had bet, I wouldve bet less, maybe 75, which would be intended as a semi-bluff, folding to a large enough reraise.

Hand 1: That's a nightmare flop. You get no action unless one of the other players has a K -- and then they come at you with a machine gun. The earlier advice on bet sizes is sound, though if you're up against KQ or AK, it woudn't have helped. The main thing is that Villain's c/r screams FOLD! to you. Unless you have some compelling reason to think that he's the king of the bluff weasels, get out. You tried to buy the pot and it didn't work.

Hand 2: Check the flop. Your preflop raise signaled a strong A or a PP, not Kx. A discerning opponent knows this and either can represent a K from early position with a c/r -- or come back at you with a genuine K.

As alluring as your draw is, it's too fragile to withstand an opponent playing back at you on the flop. If it's been checked this far to you, take a free card and hope it helps you.

In limit, you might play this hand much more the way you did. But the different risks/rewards in NL demand different play.
