party 10/20. Effective stack is $2k. Villain in this hand is HowardRoark_, a very solid player and probably one of the biggest winners in this game. 6-handed.

Villain calls in CO, button calls, sb folds, I find Qh5h in BB and check.

Flop is Qc 9h 3h. I pot it for $70, villain makes it $280, sb folds, I fold. standard?

My preference is reraise, call or fold in that order.

The only hands that are 'beating' you are 99, 33 and Q9s and even Q9s is unlikely. I think a raise to $800 takes this down quite often.

Is he so solid that he wouldnt raise here with JT, flush draw, or AQ? Im sure he does. Folding seems to weak. What about a big raise, or allin. Raise to 1000 straight seems like you want a flush draw priced in. Obv. you call push or push any turn if he calls 1k. But I think making it 1k sraight makes him fold all the above hands that he makes this raise with.

If he a clear multitable set-miner, then yeah, gf.

If hero reraised to $800 and villain jams for ~$1700, do you call?

with three people in the pot, short handed, someone is going to try to steal here. I think I like a check raise. If you get called you have a ton of outs.

Your lead bet here might show medium strenght...like middle pair or a weak flush draw. I would reraise with a ton of hands if I were HowardRoak including QJ, A9, smaller flush draw, ect...

1600+900 = 2500 with 900 more in pot after a call = only idiots fold. Equity against a set is like 32% and pot will be 3400.

This guy wouldnt limp with a Q here, he would raise first in. The problem with this hand is that I have enormous implied odds. I cant call, if no hearts come on the turn he will shut me out. If a heart come, I will get his stack if he has JhTh, if he has Ahxh i will get stacked.

Basically I have to

a) reraise pot/all in. I will win $270 if he has a q, otherwise I will wager my whole stack against set or flush draw.

b) fold.

How will he play with a set if a heart comes? Check behind?

You are a pretty big favourite against ANY flush draw, so the question is then how often does he have a set.

Roark is good but overaggressive from what I've seen. Reraise or call in that order. Don't fold.
