So, Bush has screwed up the economy and the GOP will pay for it.

Interesting you say that, as I recently read that the 2006 elections were almost entirely going to be a referendum on the economy. Or maybe it was the botched war and large scandals in the GOP. I can't recall.

After your side's 2005, "doomed to failure" in 2006 would be an improvement. /images/graemlins/grin.gif

Give me a two way market on the following:

1) % of Americans who can give last years GDP growth within 3% points

2) % of Americans who know what GDP is

yes

All the polls that show him at his lowest failure, all the setbacks that the GOP suffered - the continuing quagmire in Iraq and the American bodies piling up because of an incompetant adminstration.

this is all moot because Xbox's will be selling for Christmas presents. Therefore the GOP will rally - How could we ever have doubted Karl Rove would find a way to save the Grand Ol' Party.

Any thread they can grasp at, fine with me....nothing wrong with a little false hope to improve the chances the Dem's have to make the GOP it's bitch in 2006.

I anticipate a bit of unfriendly behavior when the Dem's take back the Congress - some nice payback - and I don't blame them at all.
