Laptop to TV

I have a laptop with 1 pcmcia slot (in use though), and a couple usb ports. Can someone give me a reccomendation on good device that will let me connect it to my TV (36 normal tube), but also I will be getting a LCD soon, so I want the res to work with both, and be like normal viewing. Thanks.

I did some looking around today, the only thing I could find was online, no b and m here had anything I was looking for that wasnt a ripoff. I am going to order a VGA to Component (red, green, blue) rca cord. It runs about 35$
