The Jews say pork and shellfish are not kosher.
The Muslims say pork is unclean.
I can understand why pork was banned in the dry conditions of the middle east.
My central asian and later northern european ancestors turned thier pigs out to munch on the acorns and other forest products.
The Jews probably hate shellfish because the King of Tyre
ended the relationship with King Solomon's git.
