I started out ok, but I got tangled w/ chip leader (who's loose, overbets & bad) & lost. I also lost AA v 77 PF all-in (I raise, he goes AI)vs the BB earlier.

Hand 1
PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t100 (7 handed) converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi)

SB (t1495)
BB (t755)
UTG (t1095)
MP1 (t2695)
MP2 (t1372)
Hero (t515)
Button (t5573)

Preflop: Hero is CO with 9/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, 9/images/graemlins/heart.gif.
3 folds, Hero raises to t515, 3 folds.

Final Pot: t665
Normally I raise 3 to 3.5 times the BB, but in these situations where my stack is pretty small, I should just go AI right? Up to what amount should I just be pushing?

Standard push. Standard fold.

Since the other guys already answered your main question, I'll address your second question about how many chips it's cool to push with the 99.

Honestly, with the blinds that large and the big stack to act behind you, i'd push with 1200-1400. That might be a leak in my game but a small raise won't chase anyone out without pot committing you so you might as well push it.
