You have until 8pm EST (or is it EDT?). Pick my dinner. It must cost less than $15 and be deliverable.

This website (http://www.dcmenus.com/gtown.html) lists all of the restaurants that deliver in my area.

Go.

Whatever OOT decides on, I will get and post a trip report.

Edited: Ignore everything in red. What was I thinking...This is violating your requisites about delivery but get over to Wisemiller's and get a Chicken Madness, NOW!

Walk down to Chu's cafe man, right next to Booey's if you haven't eaten there yet for some reason. I know its not delivery but its money. Post report and ask Mrs. Chu about Alan Iverson and crispy chicken.

If he doesn't, do we get to hear the Alan Iverson and crispy chicken story?

Don't insult me. I /images/graemlins/heart.gif Mr. and Mrs. Chu, as well as their $3.95 lunch specials. I am, however, running really well at the-game-which-will-not-be-mentioned and kinda wanna ride this rush.

I had one for lunch, and FWIW, I think they're very good but highly overrated.

Its not really a story or anything all that funny, but the way Mrs. Chu describes Iverson, he would have done anything for that crispy chicken. Was there all the time, always the same thing. Evidently he was pretty nice too...but of course, we all know you can't be a prick to your crispy chicken provider...

Well done. You'd be amazed at how many kids don't know about that place...I really need to get over the bridge and get me some fried rice...

I'm also doing-what-you're-doing and am late for a pool match...oh well....

I can see if you had ready access why you would feel this. I only get back to the D.C. area about once a year so it is one of my required stops (along with Five Guys and Peking Gourment Inn)

Most likely the problem is that I went on a Friday night, but the one time I went to Five Guys I waited an hour for a pretty ho-hum burger. I can't say I see the appeal.

If you're gonna get 5 guys, you've gotta get all the fixins. Also, the fries are incredible.

EDIT: Nevermind, it's over an hour wait on deliveries.

I'm going with Canal Express.
