Blog counter

I have a blog at blogger.com and I would like to add a simple counter from easyhitcounters.com at the bottom of the page.

Easy provided the html that has to be copied somewhere onto the page, but I have absolutely no idea how to do that.

Could someone give me a 1,2,3 walk through what I have to do, please?

If you have the HTML code, then just go into Blogger and edit your Template...

Go into Template.
Paste the code somewhere into your Template. I would suggest looking for something that says <!-- Begin #footer --> and then pasting the code right after that.

Click "Preview"... If you like it, then Save and then republish your blog.

If you don't like it, hit "Clear Edit", then paste the code somewhere else.... you can play around with it and preview a lot without hurting anything, just as long as you don't "Save" when you don't want to.

It's a good idea to copy your template into notepad and save it locally before you start modifying it also. Then you can always go back to the original.
