Why did you give up the lead on the turn? Did you think the 4 helped him? If so, why did you get jiggy with the A on the end?

Just bet the turn.

Hmm. I would probably fold preflop.

After I 3-bet instead, though, and got called on the flop, I would lead again on the turn (planning to fold to a raise versus a 3/6 unknown).

The river's difficult because at the point when Villain raises, he could still just have an ace. But when he caps, there's very little chance you're best. I don't know what you're losing to, exactly, but it appears MP2 either has KT or is the type who slowplays to the river.

Possibly 3-betting and folding to a cap is best, but I wouldn't be able to do it. And just calling the river raise seems like a reasonable alternative to me, especially in a game as trappy as Party 3/6.

Yep.

1. Pre-flop: This is a fold against some and a raise against others. To an MP2 open-raise it's hard to say, as some might open up their standards at that point (as they should), but it's basically an impossible decision to generalize without at least some stats. Against a 25/11/2 it's a raise. Against a 13/5/1.5 it's obviously a fold. You get the idea.

2. Betting this turn is completely standard in my opinion.

3. River: Similarly. The river raise may just indicate your opponent hit with AK or something. Maybe your opponent is tight and wouldn't raise less than AQ here. I think in general you're probably in good shape to three-bet here, but that's largely because you're turn check indicated you had nothing and so a good one-pair hand from villain might be good.
