PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t30 (9 handed) converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi)

Button (t1470)
SB (t1915)
BB (t3250)
UTG (t1925)
UTG+1 (t2430)
Hero (t5015)
MP2 (t500)
MP3 (t1740)
CO (t2325)

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with K/images/graemlins/spade.gif, 7/images/graemlins/spade.gif.
UTG calls t30, 1 fold, Hero calls t30, 1 fold, MP3 calls t30, CO calls t30, Button calls t30, SB completes, BB checks.

This table is full of gamble. I feel comfortable limping here because of my stack size and because I can get away from it easily. Limpfests are not uncommon here, but any hand going to the turn is probably going to have someone all in by the end of it.

Flop: (t210) 9/images/graemlins/club.gif, 7/images/graemlins/club.gif, K/images/graemlins/club.gif (7 players)
SB checks, BB checks, UTG checks, Hero bets t240, MP3 folds, CO calls t240, Button folds, SB folds, BB folds, UTG folds.

Ok, very nice flop, except for all the freaking clubs. I make an "I'm serious" bet. I'm prepared to take a raise seriously. When CO calls, I figure him for a chase. Not unexpected from this table.

Turn: (t690) 8/images/graemlins/heart.gif (2 players)
Hero bets t360, CO calls t360.

Vex like turn. Vex no slow down. Vex hates the cold call. Should he? At this point, the board looks really scary, but I can't put CO on straight cards.

River: (t1410) 9/images/graemlins/diamond.gif (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets t1695 (All-In), Hero ??

Dammit, did I just get counterfeited? In retrospect, I think I should have bet out. When CO pushes, I'm banging my head against my desk. What should I do here?

Results in white below:
Hero calls t1695. Hero cries.
Final Pot: t4800
Hero has Ks 7s (two pair, kings and nines).
CO has Jh Qc (one pair, nines).
Outcome: Hero wins t4800.

With 7 people seeing the flop, you have to be worried that someone is holding two clubs. Bet on the flop (though I wouldn't overbet it like you did). Once you get a caller, I would play it much more cautiously. Now your caller could be playing with a lone A of clubs, but 7 limpers is just too scary with that flop. I'm willing to let this one go if someone is brave enough to bluff me off the pot.
