View Full Version : Party's 15% to $75 popup = 12X WTF?
I didn't think party did any bonuses over 7X.
I deposited without really reading the T&C. Suffice it to say after 100 raked I realized the bonus wasn't going to clear anytime soon so I cashed out.
I am annoyed with this bonus, but I guess I learned a lesson, don't assume, make sure you read the T&C!

I swear when I first read the T&C it said 7x. But I didn't make a copy, so it could well have been a misread, and I read 7 DAYS, not 7 TIMES.

I think I did the same thing....I was shocked when I saw it was 12X....I double checked the email from party and it's right there in black and white....I can't believe I missed it!
Screw Party. 12X Bonuses....come on! 10X seems pretty standard these days. I guess Party makes enough money that they don't need to appeal to whores. /images/graemlins/frown.gif

I got an email offer for the same bonus. I'm done with these jokes. No amount of fish is worth being insulted.

I can't believe you people are such babies. Party poker is offering you free money and you're crying about how much poker you have to play to get it. Many of us(who are not bonus whores) didn't get any bonus offered. Just take your $75 and shut up.

Absolute Rocks. The new pokermods, make it even sweeter. The games are tougher, but the fringe benefits more than make up for the lack of fish. The fact that party went public, has tightened up the fringe benefits of playing at party. I haven't played there since the split, and don't plan on returning any time soon. Matter of fact the split was the best thing to happen to me. I now play 6 crypto monthlies, 2 table AP, and Prima, which is even better than Party for my game of choice. It is easier to keep track of players playing styles on smaller sites. I don't miss party and its obvious they don't miss me.

Someone put a muzzle on this group of Party affiliates.
All they do is whine about players taking bonuses because it hurts their bottom line. Greedy little buggers all of them.
The more loyal you are, the better bonus offers you get?
For example, will I get better offers being member of the players club?

12x ain't bad. I can see complaining about a 20x or a 40x bonus, but complaining about 12x on a nice easy site like Party is just silly.
Except that a lot of bonus whores haven't really learned how to play well. Big mistake, dudes. Learn to play better - that is worth more than any bonus you will get.

I agree that 12x isn't that bad, but it's the fact that it has to be cleared in 7 days. I've never seen less than 30 days to clear a bonus anywhere. Why must they add this ridiculous requirement?

This is the INTERNET BONUS forum...Party misled us with their email. I think others should know its 12x and not worth it. Why post crap like this?
I agree with you that this is the place to discuss the misrepresented bonus. If they said it was 7x and it ended up to be 12x than it should be mentioned. My comments were in reference to quotes like this one:

I will certianly play a bonus that is on a site that I play anyway, but I don't feel the need to chase bonuses around anymore. And no I don't hate money.

I can't remember the last Party reload that didn't have a 7 or 10 day playthru requirement.
(The signup bonus is 30 days, the IGMPAY bonus is 30 days, and some account-specific bonuses have been 30 days, but basically all the general reloads this year have been 7 days or 10 days).

I cleared this bonus 10-tabling .50/1 in a little over three hours. My monitor is smallish, but it wasn't a problem with MTH (see software forum).
If you've got $250 in your roll, as you should have playing at .5/1, then it's really that easy. If you are uncomfortable multi-tabling, then bonus-whoring at any site is going to be difficult.
The days of the regular 7x and 5x reloads from PP are probably long gone. I wonder what took them so long?
