well, the loons have returned to my little lake, along with the redneck grebes, goldeneyes, mergansers and such. the chorus frogs are out as well.the redwing black birds are in the marsh. tomorrow a bunch of us will fly onto the beach at the north end of flathead lake for lunch. spring is great.

the big downside is a skunk has moved under my shed near the house.

Flowers are starting to show and the grass is greening. Yes its nice. All area rivers are dropping and should be fishing good. Went to the Missouri last week. Windy and tough but a good time. Have you cast the 7 piece yet? I always looked forward to the red wing blackbirds returning to Poindexter Slough when I lived in Dillon.

moth balls (camphor) if he is in a kinda enclosed area. they dont like them.

or use a havaheart box trap. put a long chord to it in the direction of a board that is to be used for a ramp up to a bucket of water large enough to dump the whole trap in. then drown him. they wont spray if you dont excite them. plus their tail is down in the trap and not as likely to let them go.

just do it slowly and he wont spray. if he does tomato juice all over you. and sleep outside for a week.

great harvest is no contest. although its not bad. its still a chain, albeit a small one.

I'll try the moth balls and see what happens.

heard my first whippoorwill of the season just this evening, they are one of my favorite spring-summer sounds.ps. drowning is too good for some two legged skunks i've known, but i wouldn't include the four legged variety in there, besides the fur is surely past prime by now and hey i thought you were a mostly vegetrarian enyhow, heh.

There is no question high-altitude bread is tastier (e.g. Neo's in Ned).

The best high altitude bread in the world has to be at the Betty Rock in Jackson.

Anyone else been there?

...well, the loons have returned to my little lake...

Hear in Chicagoland, we got lots of LOONS, on all the gambling boats. And we don't have to wait for Spring. They have a feeding frenzy every day. They love shark meat the best.

SPM,...why not come to Chicago for a nature hike...

P.S. Bring lots of cash.
