liv 5-10nl with one of my hallmates at college. the game was 3 handed until we busted another hallmate for 4 buyins. since then, ive won 2k from my friend who is good but too laggy in some situations. Heres a relevant hand:
He completes, i raise to 40 with 68. Flop 2AK, he checks, i bet 70, he calls.
Turn 6, he checks, i bet 180, he cr to 500, i ask for a count, push and show my hand when he folds, he resplies that he was drawing to 6 outs.
Here is the hand:
Im dealt red kings in the sb and raise to 40(6200), he calls (3800).
Flop is 23s6s, i bet 70 he raises to 220 i make it 600 to go and he calls.
Turn 2s, i bet 1j and he pushes,
thoughts?

Is this a blind battle?

Man.. I really can't see him trying to bluff you here. You are playing this hand VERY strong. However.. from the looks of the other hand, you may very well have an image where you get paid off by a worse hand.

Any way he stacks off with 99-TT here? Somehow; I doubt it. I think LAG re-raises with JJ+ too.

Other than that.... the only semi bluffs are an odd Asx (He really call A6o OOP?)

I think I could find a fold.. especially since you have no redraw.
