Anyone Else Going To Stores Tuesday Morn. To Get a 360?

I think this may be a -EV move. AKA a waste of time. With each store getting 30 at most comibined of the crappy model and the pro, i dont see how anyone not waiting outside at 12am could get one. Anyone read anything on the odds of getting one? Maybe im overacting and most people that want one preordered at Gamestop and such. Thing is where i live only 3 stores in like a 30 mile radius will have them. so that leaves like 90 total. So that has me worried. Prolly a waste of time to go at 9am right?

I would rather wait a few months. Basically every new console to come out has a few bugs. I would rather wait a while for a working unit than camp out all night only to take it home and find out it won't read games or something goofy like that.

With that said, I don't plan on getting a 360. I already have a PS2 and a GameCube, and I hardly play those as it is.

This should be the plan. Ebay the first one and get a new one after demand subsides a little.

I guess it depends on how much you want one. For me, not having one on launch day is not an option. I will be there at 12:01 to pick up my pre-order.

What about finding a 24 hr Wal-Mart? Not that I want one but that to me would seem like the way to go if you haven't pre-ordered one.

Apparently gamestop preordered way too many and a lot of people are gonna be really pissed. Most of their orders aren't gonna be able to be filled till Jan/Feb.
These things are gonna be goin for 4 figures on ebay.

You really think the value will be that high? I was looking at some auctions for first shipment pre-orders and they were only a little more than the face value, either [censored] version or good version. If they will be reselling for $1000, I'd have no choice but to wait outside my local Best Buy at midnight.

PS2 were goin for 6-7 hundred. From what i read they really aren't gonna have a lot available till early next year which means ebay is gonna be the only way to get them for christmas.
Probably aren't that high yet becuase people think they will be able to get them at the store.
