Second Life

[Publos Nemesis]

I just found Second Life (http://secondlife.com) yesterday. Anyone else ever tried it? Seems kind of stupid / full of weirdos. Before spending any more time on it, I want to hear someone convince me it's worth it.

Looks interesting, But I think I have too many other interests in my life right now playing that thing which we shall not speak of, 2+2, work, my kids, etc.

I used to play the Sims online (this sounds a lot like that) and I found that normalcy is the exception not the rule in these virtual worlds. (But I think that might be the point of them in the first place.)

They had a special for a lifetime membership about 2-3 years ago for $10. I paid it but haven't played since beta.
