I think the asterisk indicates you have a strike against you. three and you're out.

it would be nice of Astro to outline this policy explicitly so people don't start threads like this and continue to incur strikes if indeed this is the system

Astroglide is pretty reasonable about this stuff. If you have a star you probably did something to deserve it. Don't come here and complain about it, just don't post stupid stuff and the mods will leave ya alone .

I agree with this...I wanted to start a thread asking this question, but didn't for fear of earning a * myself. Astro could just put a thread up at the top like [censored] did, to fully explain what the process is.
