I have several links for 6 max posts and a starting hand chart, my question is a little different.
.5/1 6max at Stars. UTG, CO and Button all limp, you're in the SB with the following hands, what is your action? Typical game, 2 to 3 of them probably have VP$IP > 40% and at least 1 has VP$IP > 70%
I'm asking about these because I want to make sure I'm playing the better hands correctly - my typical plays are noted below
1 - AKo
2 - AQo
3 - AJo
4 - ATo
5 - AJs
6 - ATs
7 - KQo
8 - KJo
9 - KQs
10 - KJs
These are hands that I'm somewhat uncomfortable OOP on the flop, unless it clobbers me over the head. AKs and AQs I raise regardless of position everytime.
Here is how I attempt to play these hands from the SB.
1 - AKo - Raise 100%
2 - AQo - Raise 80%, Call 20%
3 - AJo - Raise50%, Call 50%
4 - ATo - Call 100%
5 - AJs - Raise 66%, Call 33%
6 - ATs - Usually call
7 - KQo - Raise 30%, Call 70%
8 - KJo - Call
9 - KQs - Raise 70%, Call 30%
10 - KJs - Call
I generally feel much more comfortable raising suited hands from EP than non-suited.
Does your action change if you're in the BB when the SB completes?
SSHE on page 259-260, says to raise ATs from the BB against 6 limpers so I figure I need to be raising most of these more often.
Something that stands out at me is that I don't like to raise KQo from the SB but have no problem raising with KQs
