Strip clubs just seem kind of depressing to me. Not because I feel the girls are exploited -- they're often making damn good money and many don't even pretend to have any charm. I think it's not a bad job for the women. But the guys just come out even more horny than before and sometimes even more aware and frustrated that they're standing around all boned up and no place to go. If you've got something waiting for you to plow, fine. But if that's the case, a strip club seems beside the point. Maybe if I were married for years and I needed some stimulation to get to the point where I could stand banging my wife, I'd finally start liking strip clubs a lot more.

a) Even though my experience is limited it seems like the kind of thing you would know was good if you saw.

Good point. Some clubs I've been to (like Shotgun Willie's in Denver) won't let you get near the girls. $20 for an up-close peep show. No wood there. Here in ABQ they're pretty good about grinding on ya, but no touching (unless they know you or it's a slow night.) And in response to OP - isn't that sort of the point? My experience here is limited - I've had one strip-club lapdance ever, and I was drunk and dressed as santa claus (no really) - but I'm surprised anyone would answer "no" to this poll.

On a related note, I just took a job where my commute's around 50 miles. If I leave work at 5 it'll take me 1.5-2 hours to get home, but if I leave at 7 it'll take an hour. My job's right next to some land that's not really part of an actual town...I'm not sure how the zoning works, but it's basically just strip clubs, massage parlors, sex-toy/porn shops and places that do piercing/tattoos. I have been to strip clubs in Montreal, which allow full contact at only $10 CND per dance. Good deal, wood was achieved.
