Recommend me personal property insurance

I'm currently a college student living in a dorm apartment. If there were ever to be a fire, I'd be somewhat screwed. I'm looking for about $6k of property insurance for thieves/fire/etc. I googled for a little while but didn't really find anything I was looking for (maybe I just suck at googling). Please post some links of personal property insurance you recommend

i'm interested in this also. some sort of thing that will insure just a couple valuable items, not provide total insurance coverage.

Open the local phone book's Yellow Pages and look for ads under "Insurance." Any agent who sells Homeowners Insurance would also be able to give you a quote for "Renters Insurance." Given the relatively low value of your property (e.g. under 50K), the premium should not be more than $100 per year.
