I've recently dropped to 10+1's after a great run at the 30+3's since I needed my poker bankroll for real life. Sorry no hand converter since I play on pokerroom.com. Normally, this would be an easy fold for me at the 30's but I'm baffled as to what is my move at the 10's. Results to come contigent upon responses.
TY 2+2!!!!!!!!!

Not familiar how pokerroom compares to Party, but at the the 10's on Party I find all ins like this are more often than not done with garbage, I'd be happy to call.

Without a specific read I'd be more concerned with the shorter stacks reraise to 220, but since you have him well covered I think I like my chances enough against the all in and call.

In an $11 tournament, I call this every time. If you give wilpker any credit for being smart, you'll call even faster. Table Taxer is probably raising crap (since he's short stacked, I'm assuming he got that way doing something stupid like raising half his stack with a good-but-not-great hand) and wilpker is pushing to isolate him with your dead money in the pot.

Yeah I'd consider folding in a $33+ but in an $11 I'm always getting my chips in the middle preflop with QQ no matter how suspicious the preflop action. They just have junk too often to give this up.

yeah, i shoulda called.....AK vs. 88. Woulda won but still not ready to coin-flip this early even in a 10+1 right now. Maybe a leak as everyone else seems to instacall. Do you guys really think that doubling up with the blinds so tiny and so many hands yet to be seen definitely ups my ROI. It *seems* to me that many of my 1st place finishes can be attributed to my bubble and heads up play rather than big hands early. But maybe just an illusion................

A "coin flip", with more than enough overlay to make it worthwhile. Look at the pot and how much is in it! I would never fold here. Hell last night at a $55 some muppet re-raised all-in to a re-raise of my raise with QQ.. and I called.. and he had AJ ffs. Says it all!

I've played alot at pokerroom and i always make this call there. I have seen to many players going in with large aces and lower pp at the 11's to fold this one.

[/ QUOTE ]It seems to me that bubble play is easier when you have a healthy chip stack and that a decent stack means you can make a mis-step or get sucked out on during bubble play and still survive. Maybe doubling up early doesn't double your chances of being ITM or winning, but it sure doesn't hurt.
