I've never seen this confirmed, but if they do I need to start opening Party when I'm not around and sticking shemale scat bondage horse Kansas City Royals porn on my computer for them to take shots of.

ENJOY.

The Party T&C used to say Party had the right to take screen shots... that section was changed in a recent update to the T&C, and Party now states that they do not take screen shots. Party does still scan running programs, as part of the security measures against prohibited software.

I once got attacked by the address xxxxxx.partypoker.com (xed out so you cheaters can't block the address). I was on dialup at the time so it was very noticable, all a sudden the Party Poker client opened about 20 connections and started rapidly sending data to that address. The attack lasted over a minute, and disconnected me from all my tables. I would estimate they sent 200-400K of data via my modem. This was a couple of months ago, never had it before or since. I don't run pokertracker or any third party software while playing.

So yeah, they were probably uploading a screenshot. There was no significant disk activity during the episode.

I really, really hope so, since my photoshopped Wallpaper of Dikshit f***ing a donkey is starting to draw comments from others, and I'd hate to think I created it and have kept it plastered on my widescreen all this time if it turns out no one at Party has ever seen it.

Wouldn't it be more insulting for him if he were doing a cow?

I think the founder engaged in a sex act outside his own species is sufficently insulting / goofy that I'd generate a sufficiently +EV (in a transcendant, karmic sort of way) response from any lowly employee responsible for scraping and reviewing desktop captures to justify the wallpaper; but you're right that given the profile of the expected Party CS / Security employee, a cow may pack a greater punch (though I really don't need my account summarily closed).

You really think there are that many cheaters on these forums? I'd really like to know this address so that I can block it. I know I should, but Ii don't have a "dedicated" poker computer, and all kinds of sensitive info could be gathered.

Scanning running processes would be a lot more effective than taking screenshots. A screen shot takes a lot of bandwidth to send, it would require a human being to look at the images to find anything, and wouldn't catch software that doesn't have a window open (running as a service, running in the system tray). Sending a list of running processes requires minimal bandwidth, and the list can be scanned by software to find banned programs.

I'm sure the majority of Party's CS team despise Dikshit more than we do.
