UTG + 1 limps $ 500.00
LP 1 limps $ 300.00
Button limps (Hero)K/images/graemlins/club.gif Q/images/graemlins/club.gif $ 450.00
SB calls $ 200.00
BB checks (villian) $1,000.00

(pot) $25.00

Flop K 7 Q rainbow.

checked to the button (hero). (hero) bets $50.00

SB folds
BB minraises to $100.00
UTG + 1 folds
LP folds
Button (hero) calls $50.00

Pot $225.00

Turn K 7 Q 3

BB (villian) bets $100.00
Button (hero) calls $100.00

Pot $425.00

River K 7 Q 3 9

BB (villian) bets $100.00
Button (Hero) calls $100.00

Pot $625.00.

I had somewhat of a decent read on the villian , solid player. But he really had me confussed on this hand.

Initially I thought he would be on AK , but figured he would most likely put in somekind of a raise preflop, I ruled out KK QQ , most likely a huge raise preflop with those hands. possibly 77 , KQ , K7 , Q7 .

Comments on how I played this hand ? How I could have played it better ?

results to follow.

Raise preflop.

Flop bet looks good if these people respond well to overbets.

Villian's CMRR out of the BB looks rather donkish. I'm inclined to think K7/Q7 here.

If I think he has a set on the turn, I call. Otherwise, raise. You should be delighted to get the money in the middle here unless villian is a complete nit.

Raise river to 250-300

Allin the turn. Its live. Im guessing his JT is good.

Oh and I really dont like a river raise at this point. As you played it, call river.

Hi - I play the 3/5 Commerce semi-regularly (got killed last night actually) and post here -

SS Forum (http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/postlist.php?Cat=&Board=ssplnlpoker)

To the hand -

I would've raised pre-flop.

I don't like the flop over-bet. Min-raise from a "solid" player, with your over-bet, screams of strength to me. This is a typical flop line I see alot and although it's donkish I'm immediately thinking "set" or "worse 2-pair". Is "solid" player capable of re-raising with the draw?Capable of trying to steal this pot from you (reading your over-bet as a bluff) with a really weak re-pop?

I actually figured this would be the correct play here to push the turn. But something in my gut I suppose told me to play it slow with this guy.

Showdown of the hand Villian had 77 , showing down a set.

Thanks for the response guys.
