Villian is overaggresive, no donk though. From what I remember he's like 28/15. I know the flop is weird and betting out is probably best. But I was in the mood to check/call then lead.

River action? This pot got kinda big all of a sudden.

Meh. I hate goofy min raises.

I probably check/call on river.

Against a more passive villian I may bet/fold.

if youre going to check, raise the flop.

The minraise could be a blocking bet. He has to be a little confused on what your hand is and is probably thinking TT or JJ which picked up a straight draw or a made straight.

I lead the end for 400-500 and plan to folding to a raise. It gives him good odds to call with AA KK or JJ and lets you fold safely to a raise without you feeling pot committed. The other option is to check/fold b/c I don't think that a standard villain is betting less than trips on the river here.

If he's overaggro then either check/call river, or (if he's REAL overaggro) make that $400 river bet but plan to call any raise as he tries to blow you off your hand.

Warning: this line is the boundary of variance city, population: you.

Leading the river for the pot is bad, he will realize that he can't bluff and is unlikely to call with a worse hand.

~1/2 pot value betting the river and then folding to a raise is good if he's more on the passive end.
