tried to cash out 3 grand and they said:

"Dear Mr Gay Avatar Man,

We are writing to inform you that your neteller withdrawals have been blocked and credited back to your Eurobet account as the amounts requested were not produced from winnings.

Kind regards,
Giusy

Did you ask them how many raked hands you'd have to play before you were allowed to cash out your own money?

Of course it also sucks if you use them as a bank and don't actually play there.

If this is Eurobet rakeback derived from recent play then I'm on your side. Not sure from your post.

If I were you I'd play a couple tables of 0.5/1 for a few minutes and then try again. Not worth getting bent out of shape until you know you have a serious problem.

yeah i haven't played there in around a month... the rake is 1/6th from eurobet, the rest is party. i'm going to message them and find out how many hands i have to play to get it.

oh geez i just got this response:

"Dear Mr Gay Avatar Man,
We would like to inform you that you would need to play a total $2,564 worth in eurobet poker to be able to then withdraw any winnings.

Kind regards,
Giusy

1) what the hell does that even mean

2) eat my [censored] eurobet

3) if me playing 20 hands of .50/1 isn't enough to withdraw i am going to be very upset

by vpr i meant vpip. and actually they are all at about 20-30 right now. i actually think i'm going to move down and start playing at 1/10th of my usual limits instead of 5/10.

If you play 5/10 why not play 5/10 to get your money out. 2k wagered is not much at 5/10.

Did I say 5/10 yet?

yeah you're right, good idea, let's play 5/10 on eurobet, that's exactly what i want to do.

ALSO, when he said "you would need to play a total $2,564 worth in eurobet poker to be able to then withdraw any winnings."

where do you infer that it means i must wager 2564? he says i need to play a total of 2564 but that doesn't really make any sense to me. do i need to pay 2564 in rake? do i need to win a total of 2564? what does "wagering" 2564 even mean? it sounds like a dumb bluff on his part and i'm fairly sure that there's no legal way that they could withhold a fairly large amount of money from me for no reason like that.

You tried to cashout 3k. You said 1/6 of your play was at eurobet. I'm going to go out on a limb and assume that the amount they want you to put into play is the amount you were transferred.

How do you not infer that they mean you must wager $2,564?

Wagering $2,564 means that you put that much money into the pot...

I have little experience with this room, but it all seems pretty harmless.

However if they want you to pay that much in rake it would suck to be you.

What exactly did you expect - that they let you cashout the whole amount without any kind of playthrough requirement? Every single site out there has a system like this to prevent money laundering. And that's a good thing.

If you have a problem with it, just ship the extra 5/6 back to your affiliate, and have him send it to you over Neteller or something.

what legality are you talking about here?
it's their site and their rules. they aren't subject to any laws anywhere and they can pretty much do what they please.

Why people keep bringing up the notion of "is this legal? maybe I can sue?" and things like that really confuses me.

They're off-shore for a reason.
There are no 'laws' that apply to your situation or to online-poker.

there are laws in every country, microbob. its not like there is a eurobet office situated in the middle of a 24/7 riot with women constantly running and screaming in fear and gang members stomping on babies.
