that's not a bad beat, u should have mucked the flop with an ace out there...

Well, when the 2nd and 3rd aces came, my changes of being good actually went up, I thought. But his comment, "KK no good" actually made me pretty sure he had an ace. It just doesn't seem like an automatic fold though, but based on his comment, I probably should have. /forums/images/icons/frown.gif

apart from your flop bet, and you are lucky he was waiting to raise the turn, i doubt if there is anyone here who would have played that differently

not a bad beat, but a big hand to be beaten - bl

i won't even mention my AhQh with 9h5h2h 6s 6d centre beaten by 9s6c yesterday

ok..i back off a bit i would have called the flop headsup 85% of the time, but u should have mucked the turn..in a 3 bet pot preflop...with 3 callers than chances of someone having an ace are very high...even tho it is party poker..Mike your hand does qualify for a bad beat by the way...

once he checked the turn, wouldn't you have bet if you had, say, QQ?

Yes headsup it would be an easier call, I agree. /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

By the way, by "Bad Beat" I mean my hand would qualify for a bad beat jackpot in most places that have one. I lost with Aces full of Kings, and both me and the player that beat me used both of our hole cards. A very rare thing to happen! I know it's not a bad beat in that I had the lead on the flop and he was drawing slim.
