Your 6th street play works for me since: it's now less likely seat 7 has trip deuces so you can more solidly put him on two pair. You have many ways to outdraw 2 pair, particularly if it's 10's up and you have the spade backup. On the river, you get an extra bet in if you hit either of the hands your drawing at or you can check behind. Plus, you put pressure on the other asshat if he too is trailing. What's not to like?

Played it perfectly I think. You may be behind a little but you've got a good shot at getting 10's up to fold and if you dont no big deal your hand is so live it looks like half the deck can hit you on the river for a winner.

If one of the values of such a bet is to get at least 1 opponent to fold, then it is unlikely to happen, as few will fold on sixth, especially with each having put in 1 bet. As such, I prefer the call and I hope I hit. You will likely be checked to on river anyway. I would rather see you minimize your investment here on 6th until you have the better hand.

I need to be making more plays like this.

Some numbers:Thee are 43 remaining cards. Eight of them will flush you + 6 A's & Q's for 2 high pair. This gives you 14 winning cards to 29 losers, almost 1/3rd.

Wow, your numbers are so wrong it's not even funny. Actually, it kind of is funny.

Assuming jacks up or better will win, we have the following.

Wins: A/images/graemlins/club.gif, A/images/graemlins/heart.gif, A/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, 2/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, 3/images/graemlins/spade.gif, 4/images/graemlins/heart.gif, 4/images/graemlins/spade.gif, 4/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, 5/images/graemlins/spade.gif, 6/images/graemlins/spade.gif, 7/images/graemlins/spade.gif, 8/images/graemlins/spade.gif, 9/images/graemlins/spade.gif, J/images/graemlins/club.gif, Q/images/graemlins/club.gif, Q/images/graemlins/heart.gif, Q/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, K/images/graemlins/spade.gif
Losses: 3/images/graemlins/club.gif, 3/images/graemlins/heart.gif, 5/images/graemlins/club.gif, 5/images/graemlins/heart.gif, 5/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, 6/images/graemlins/heart.gif, 7/images/graemlins/heart.gif, 8/images/graemlins/heart.gif, 8/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, 9/images/graemlins/heart.gif, 9/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, T/images/graemlins/club.gif, K/images/graemlins/heart.gif, K/images/graemlins/diamond.gif

That's right, 18/33 > 0.5. If you make some inferences about my opponents probable holdings (Jeff - does it look like pair + heart draw rather than tens up?), it's even better than that.

Ship it.

Seat 3 folded to the raise on 6th street. I made queens up on the river, my opponent checked and called my bet. My opponent had pocket threes for 3s and 2s.

Blumpkin22:Yea, you're right. My numbers were pretty absurd. I was so tired & sleepy last night that when I subtracted 19 from 52, I came up with 43. Then, when I was figuring your outs, I forgot about the 4's, 2's & the remaining J. Oh well, at least you had a good laugh at my expense.(LOL). Good luck to you. Ben.
